Applicants appealing denial of "township assistance" must be informed about the availability of free legal counsel

Ind. Code § 12-20-15-6(b)(5) provides that an applicant for “township assistance” (previously called “poor relief”) who appeals the denial of benefits must be informed “of the availability of free legal counsel for the indigent.”  But this likely means only providing the litigant with a list of legal service organizations in the area.
