PA report urges statewide eviction right to counsel

A report from the Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center and Keystone Research Center urges the state to fund a right to counsel for tenants statewide as a long-term strategy for combatting the housing crisis.  The report notes the passage of statewide tenant right to counsel in Washington State, Connecticut, and Maryland, as well as the potential financial benefits to the state.

This report follows prior efforts statewide to expand the right to counsel for civil litigants.
