La. C.C.P. Art. 3603.1(B), which is part of the code relating to domestic violence restraining orders, states, “Any person against whom such an order is issued shall be entitled to a court-appointed attorney if the applicant has likewise been afforded a court-appointed attorney, which right shall also be included in any order or notice.”  No provision could be located that authorizes courts to appoint counsel for the applicant for a restraining order.
